We are looking for an Ambitious, Confident and Enthusiastic HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. As an HR Business Analyst Intern, you'll have the exciting opportunity to assist in developing and implementing process improvement plans that enhance HR effectiveness. Your role will involve exploring innovative approaches to align HR practices with our business strategy while following group guidelines. You'll engage in various projects that include process improvement, data gathering, analysis, and facilitating cross-functional meetings. Additionally, you'll support the team in maintaining HR databases and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help execute business process improvement plans to meet our goals

  • Collaborate on developing employee-focused improvement strategies to understand business processes and workflows

  • Assist in prioritizing initiatives that align with our business strategy and positively impact employees

  • Gather and analyze data from various sources to provide insights for the HR team

  • Serve as a point of contact for ad hoc HR compensation analysis and reporting

  • Analyze HR activities to spot trends and suggest process improvements

  • Prepare HR metrics and assist in designing dashboards and scorecards

  • Explore ways to enhance and automate our reporting processes

  • Build strong relationships within HR to understand the business and help automate processes

Special Projects:

  • Help execute business process improvement for COA

  • Help on creating dashboards and applying market best practices

  • Help on automating reports and metrics

Competencies:

  • Ability to work collaboratively and constructively through disagreements to maintain positive relationships

  • Familiarity with HR systems to maximize data quality and reporting capabilities while ensuring confidentiality

  • Capability to align HR structures, processes, and metrics with business strategy

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with data analysis and experience with dashboards/scorecards and database querying (SQL, VB, Power BI)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Power Point, Power BI)

  • Interest in project management and continuous improvement methodologies

  • Strong analytical and technical skills

Non-Exempt Hourly Pay Rate: $21
