Located at our beautiful Headquarters along Lake Michigan in downtown Racine: 555 Main Street, Racine, WI. Hybrid work schedule. As a JOHNSON OUTDOORS intern, you will be part of our team by supporting the company\'s strategic direction while tackling current industry challenges. During this internship, you\'ll have the opportunity to work alongside mentors and professionals who rank among the best in their fields. This program can be a key pipeline for full-time opportunity and development programs at Johnson Outdoors! The position is a paid, summer intern averaging 40 hours per week. We expect the position to begin May/June 2024 and end no later than August 2024. This is a terrific opportunity for a current college senior or first year law student seeking entry level experience. The position will work 40 hours per week in our Racine office. Since this is a temporary opportunity, the position is not eligible for benefits. Preference will be giving to eligible children of our employees. Job Duties: Review relevant national or international laws, legal regulations, and regimes Evaluate and provide analysis on impact to Johnson Outdoors and its operations Work on legal projects to support future business decisions Analyze document retention policies and review stored documents to evaluate retention or deletion Support company intellectual property practice by organizing monthly calls, reviews, and summaries of progress on patent and trademark work in progress Additional assignments to be determined Qualifications: Education: A senior undergraduate college student studying general pre-law, political science, economics, business, and/or liberal arts coursework, or A 1-L student or student who completed the LSAT and/or is admitted to law school seeking an entry level Legal opportunity Familiar with common office software such as Word and Excel Ability to manage project work, multi-task, and good written and oral communication skills Strong critical thinking, problem solving and project management skills Legally authorized to work in the United States and not require employment based sponsorship now or in the future What you will gain: A dynamic 10 to 12-week internship program Undertake cross-functional activities to broaden your knowledge of Johnson Outdoors and its various business units Opportunity to work alongside mentors and professionals who rank among the best in their fields Be part of our team by supporting the company\'s strategic direction while tackling current industry challenges Top summer interns...
