Public Sector Professional Services Intern

REMOTE, Tysons, VA

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES – PUBLIC SECTOR TEAM:

The Professional Services – Public Sector team is seeking an intern to support key functions and initiatives within the organization. This role will give an intern the opportunity to work to ensure Trellix solutions are deployed, integrated, assessed, and optimized to meet mission needs. The intern will gain insight on providing the guidance needed to automate security processes, policies, and procedures, to improve an enterprise network.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Engagement Managers and Solution Service Consultants to plan, design, implement and optimize applications within a virtualized environment.

• Assist the Engagement Managers and Solution Service Consultants in drafting and editing formal reports, architecture designs, optimization guides, and best-practice white papers covering a variety of security topics.

• Assist the Engagement Managers and Solution Service Consultants in developing and editing internal and customer-facing briefs to support service delivery.

• Assist the Engagement Managers with forecasting, scheduling, and hiring resources to support service delivery.

• Attend extensive Trellix Product Training courses

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE INTERNSHIP

This is a full-time, remote internship. In-person engagement opportunities are possible in Tysons, VA or other Trellix office locations. The internship will start in May 2025. You will undertake a challenging project designed to blend strategic and operational work. You will be provided a full network of individuals to ensure you have an incredible internship experience and be assigned a mentor and peer-level buddy to help you navigate the organization. Specific projects and responsibilities will be assigned based upon your skillset.

INTERNSHIP CONCLUSION : TBD

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a technical related major

• 3.0 GPA or better

• Eligible to work in the United States without work authorization sponsorship now or anytime in the future

• You must be within two years of graduating at the conclusion of the internship. For example, if the internship concludes in August 2025 – you should have your studies completed by August 2027
