Applied Materials’ Office of the CTO is searching for an intern to join our team in summer 2025! The position will entail the following:

  • Perform processing of device substrates, with particular focus on mass transfer of micron-scale devices. Handling of wafers and materials/chemical processing are required.

  • Conduct metrology of processed device substrates, document and interpret data, and present key findings in technical meetings

  • Collaborate with key technologists to discuss and execute experiments

Requirements

  • Student must be pursuing a Master’s or Ph.D. degree program in Materials/Chemical Engineering, or a related field

  • Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a GPA of 3.5 and above on a 4.0 scale

  • Experience in semiconductor processing or manufacturing preferred

  • Quick learner and able to work independently
