Position Overview The global Stanley Supply Chain team is looking for a qualified intern to join our 2024 Summer Intern program and lead a project to improve inventory transfer visibility to our business stakeholders. You will analyze the inventory transfer process for our products to the final DC and provide insights and recommendations to improve visibility and on-time receipt. Working closely with multiple cross-functional departments including Planning, Fulfillment and Transportation teams, your analysis will be essential to assuring the right product is available for fulfillment per business requirements. You will work with and influence a wide variety of business partners across the organization. The internship is a 12-week commitment running from either June 3rd - August 23rd, or June 17th to September 6th. This is a hybrid role with expectations of coming into the office about 2 - 3 times a week. What You'll Do In this role, you will direct a project to identify and implement best practices to improve inventory transfer visibility to our business stakeholders across multiple distribution centers in North America and create a methodology and process for "should be" guidance on inventory transfer parameters. You will gather and analyze information, formulate, and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendations. You'll also present results and recommendations to Stanley Supply Chain leadership to improve inventory transfer visibility to our business stakeholders in collaboration with team members. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
