Amazon Global Selling is one of Amazon’s business units that helps businesses from anywhere in the world to launch a global business, reaching Amazon customers around the world and building international brands. Today, more than 50% of Amazon's total sales come from third-party sellers’ selections.

In China, the Global Selling team is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazon’s 18 overseas marketplaces, and supporting these businesses’ long-term success and growth on the Amazon. Our vision is to be the first choice for all types of Chinese business to sell globally.

We are hiring an intern to join our Marketing Operations (MKT Ops) team and help building our Market Intelligence capability. This role will involve monitoring messages flowing in the market and providing valuable insights that inform our company’s decision-making process. In addition, the intern will have the opportunity to work on projects that improve the efficiency of our MKT team. This is a great chance to gain real-world experience in Marketing operating as a function and build your knowledge of the Cross-board E-Commerce industry. Intern will demonstrate the unique talents in creating values to those projects, which will brighten up your resume and increase your chance in future conversion to full-time employee.

Key job responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  1. Systematic approach to external intelligence by collection, analyzing, summarization, and reporting. Objects include key information related to macroeconomics, industry, regulatory policies, competitors, and seller voices.

  2. Marketing Operational Projects – to be assigned with options of reporting, survey, and vendor management.

Basic Qualifications

  1. Master in business analysis, e-commerce, international trading, or similar major.

  2. Graduate between 09/2024 and 09/2025

  3. Proficiency in English is a must

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Ability to proactively search external facts in line with business objectives, analyze for business insights, and report to influence business decisions in a quality English writing manner.

  2. Ability of data analysis with familiarity of statistics tool

  3. Ability to prompt effectively to gain support of AI-empowered LLM engine

  4. Industry know-how about e-commerce, retailing, or international trading.
