Emerson Strategic Initiative Intern in Shanghai, China
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Data Analysis:
Responsible for collecting and coordinating various primary data sources, including but not limited to financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements), industry research reports (e.g., market share analysis, technology development trends reports), and product manuals (e.g., chip selection guides, solution manuals).
Apply Excel and other tools for cleaning and analyzing data, extracting key insights, and crafting data visualizations (e.g., line charts, bar charts, pie charts, heat maps).
Market Analysis:
Supervise the latest policies and market dynamics in the high-end manufacturing sectors of the APAC region and China, including government incentive policies, import/export trade policies, investment events, market investment trends, competitor activities, and emerging technology trends. Compile and deliver regular briefing reports.
Assist in conducting market research for specific vertical segments (e.g., semiconductor testing equipment, EV battery testing equipment), including market size estimation, growth potential evaluation, and customer screening.
Collaborate with the business team to perform competitor analysis, including capturing data on competitor products, marketing strategies, and other relevant activities.
For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a STEM-related field, with familiarity in semiconductor or transportation being a plus.
Proficient in Excel and other data processing tools.
Using technical means acquire data efficiently.
Excellent analytical and independent thinking skills; strong attention to detail.
Strong structural and critical thinking, logical reasoning, and a detailed and open-minded attitude.
Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English (speaking, writing, and reading).
Experience with NI products and familiarity with NI-related technologies (PXI, LabVIEW) is advantageous.
