Program Overview Each intern is presented a real business challenge within their group that provides the opportunity to exchange ideas with subject matter experts for optimal learning and development that leads to real solutions. At the end of the internship, our interns get together to showcase their awesome accomplishments during an event we call the \"Intern Expo\". But we aren\'t ALL business, throughout the intern program our University Relations team hosts exclusive events such as featured executive lunch & learns, plant tours, personal & professional development sessions and intern socials. Your Role As a Process Engineering Intern, you will help assist with the following tasks: * Accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project during the internship * Assist the company with task set out by various teams such as 5S Implementation research and data capturing to learn more about plant operations * Documenting 5S Procedures * Improve operational processes by working closely with the people executing those processes and procedures * Become familiar with our Quality Management System and participate in streamlining our knowledge transfers for Quality-related matters * Build and maintain trust and credibility with employees at all levels to ensure the change is set up to succeed Qualifications * Enrolled at time of internship in an accredited bachelor\'s degree program in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field. * Minimum 2.7 GPA * Currently a Junior or Senior * 5S experience a plus * Well versed in Microsoft Excel data analysis (pivot tables, filters, nested \"if\" statements) Perks & Benefits As an intern at Mohawk you can look forward to competitive pay, paid holidays off, potential relocation/housing assistance based on work location and employee discounts on Mohawk products and many others.
