Kuehne+Nagel Contract Logistics Intern in Singapore, Singapore

You will be part of our Contract Logistics team, adding your knowledge and perspective to the delivery of Customer & Operational Excellence.

Your Role

Your will be responsible for supporting the team with our daily activities + projects. You will do this by collaborating with various key stakeholders while focusing on the following key tasks.

Your Responsibilities

As a Contract Logistics Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting warehouse operations and contributing to various projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Compile, analyze, and interpret logistics data to provide actionable insights.

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, such as implementing lean practices.

  • Support the implementation of warehouse layout improvements to enhance efficiency.

  • Support the testing and implementation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or other logistics software.

  • Support various administrative tasks and processes related to customer accounts.

  • Communicate with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide updates on orders.

  • Conducting market research to identify industry trends and key influences.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas).

  • Basic knowledge of supply chain management concepts and logistics operations.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • A commitment to a 6-month internship is required.

  • Work location - Pioneer, Singapore.
