Kuehne+Nagel Contract Logistics Intern in Singapore, Singapore
You will be part of our Contract Logistics team, adding your knowledge and perspective to the delivery of Customer & Operational Excellence.
Your Role
Your will be responsible for supporting the team with our daily activities + projects. You will do this by collaborating with various key stakeholders while focusing on the following key tasks.
Your Responsibilities
As a Contract Logistics Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting warehouse operations and contributing to various projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Compile, analyze, and interpret logistics data to provide actionable insights.
Participate in process improvement initiatives, such as implementing lean practices.
Support the implementation of warehouse layout improvements to enhance efficiency.
Support the testing and implementation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or other logistics software.
Support various administrative tasks and processes related to customer accounts.
Communicate with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide updates on orders.
Conducting market research to identify industry trends and key influences.
Your Skills and Experiences
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas).
Basic knowledge of supply chain management concepts and logistics operations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
A commitment to a 6-month internship is required.
Work location - Pioneer, Singapore.
