THE ROLE

Division: Travel Retail

Job Title: Sales Management Intern, SEA

Reporting to: Key Account Manager and working closely with SEA team

About the Role

Through this role, you’ll be able to gain an understanding of:

  1. Travel Retail Industry

  2. Beauty Industry

  3. Commercial

  4. Supporting functions (Marketing/Demand Planning/Finance)

  5. Ecommerce within Travel Retail

  6. Business reporting

  7. Reporting systems (Sales reports/TRIP/The HUB)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Monthly Business Update and Business reviews

  2. Generate reports each month for the Monthly Business Update

  3. Generate reports each month for the Business Review

  4. Maintain and update trackers

  5. Work with Retail Specialist /Retail Manager/Retail Sales Coordinator on allocation and tracking of Gifts with Purchase (GWPs) and Point of Sales (POS)

  6. Work withRetail Specialist /Retail Manager/Retail Sales Coordinatoron the Purchase Requisition (PR) / Purchase Order (PO) process

  7. Retail sales reports/documents

  8. Update sell-out reports for retailers and key brands

  9. Complete required documents for product registration in Malaysia

  10. Update price list picture

  11. Update retailer assortment templates

  12. Analysis

  13. Beauty Advisor quarterly allowance

  14. Monthly incentives analysis

  15. Newness report

  16. Track Retailer and Local Market on-line activities weekly

  17. Track, report and present findings

  18. Shipment of Internal Product Requisition/Stock to Retail Specialists and retailers

  19. Send requested/ordered stock to Retail Specialist /Retail Manager and retailers when needed.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

ESSENTIAL:

  • Undergraduates who can commit for at least 6 months (Jul to December 2025) for a full-time internship.

  • Skilled in the use of MS Office tools including Outlook (or related email tool) Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Self-motivated and self-starter, with a strong work ethic and a sense of confidentiality.

  • Possesses cross-cultural awareness and high emotional intelligence.

  • Articulate, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good balance of a professional attitude while having fun.

  • Strong interest in consumer goods, makeup and beauty products.

  • Strong desire to learn along with a strong sense of ownership.

  • Persuasive, resilient and flexible, able to easily adapt to new challenges.

  • Passionate, enthusiastic and driven to regularly follow-up with loose ends.

  • Able to thrive despite challenges while adopting a positive attitude under pressure.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  1. Understanding of a Commercial role and functions

  2. Basic understanding of how other functions including marketing, demand planning and Finance interlink with Commercial
