Our Intern will be paid hourly and work up to 40 hours per week during this program. Interns will act as a part of the service line team learning and engaging each step of the way. You will gain knowledge of commercial industry terms, laws and regulations, processes and market trends, taking your experience and knowledge back to share with your classmates and organizations.

The Transition & Quality Control Intern assists with a variety of tasks and administrative duties to support daily operations, ensuring the efficient execution of operational processes. The Intern will collaborate closely with department leaders, including the Procurement Manager, Liabilities Claims Specialist Manager, and the Transitions team, providing essential support across multiple functions within the department.

Job Description

ACCOUNTABILITIES

May be responsible for one or more of the following:

  • Assist department leaders, including the Procurement Manager, Liabilities Claims Specialist Manager, and the Transitions team, by providing essential support across various functions

  • Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible

  • Prepare and organize documentation for operational activities and assist in generating reports for management review

  • Make recommendations and implement solutions for department processes

  • Assist in completing other tasks within the department when additional resources are needed

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor Degree or currently pursuing

  • 1+ years of relevant experience

  • Or any similar combination of education and experience

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • SharePoint and Office 365 experience is preferred

  • Ability to understand, interpret, and abstract complex real estate lease terminology

  • Ability to work independently

  • Effective and efficient time management skills

  • Detail oriented, organized, and thorough

  • Experience in customer service

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours

  • May involve periods of standing, such as operating at a copier/fax/scanner

  • Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type

  • Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you

  • Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, graphics, and computer displays

  • Ability to observe details at close range
