The Syracuse Regional Airport Authority (SRAA), operator of the Syracuse Hancock International Airport, is a flourishing airport with a lot of new projects ahead looking for a temporary full time Trades Intern. Working 40 hours per week for 9 weeks, this person will provide assistance to our skilled trades, specifically in the areas of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry. This amazing opportunity will provide:Exposure to skilled trades; electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry. Job shadowingEntry-level assistance to gain experience. Attending Trades meetings for exposure and learning.Program Start Date: Monday, July 1, 2024Program End Date: Friday, August 30, 2024Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am- 3:30pm, 40 hours per weekRequirementsMust have a high school degree/GED equivalent.
