Johnson and Johnson Innovative Medicines is recruiting for a Statistics 2025 Summer Intern, located in Raritan, NJ.
This summer internship is available for undergraduate or graduate students working towards a degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related Quantitative subject area.
The student will have the opportunity to work with experienced statisticians in providing support towards nonclinical statistical challenges related to pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality. Some activities may include data preparation, graphical exploration of data, statistical model building and analyses, and writing of computer programs or software applications associated with the statistical analyses.
In this role the student will be particularly leading a project to revise statistical training packages and help team members deliver the training.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing training materials to deliver Statistics training to scientists and Engineers within the organization
Use Minitab, JMP, R, and other software as needed for training or projects support
Collaborate with senior statisticians on Statistical projects
Attend meetings and collaborate as part of cross-functional teams
Prepare and deliver presentations on work completed
Qualifications
Education:
- Current student pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degree.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
Basic statistics knowledge.
Familiarity with one or more statistical software packages (such as Minitab, JMP, SAS)
Preferred:
- Familiarity with one or more programming languages related to statistics and data science such as R or Python.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$22.00 per hour and $51.50 per hour
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The anticipated base pay for this position is between $22.00 per hour and $51.50 per hour, but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. This position is overtime eligible. Intern/Co-ops may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as medical insurance, sick time, holiday pay, and the Company’s consolidated retirement plan in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans. Housing stipend will be offered for those that qualify. This position is ineligible for severance.
