Job Description:

Department Overview : The TD Direct Investing Journey owns the end-to-end client experience across TD's self-directed investing platforms (TD Easy Trade, TD WebBroker, and the TD App). We aim to maintain our position as Canada's best and biggest broker by defining, innovating, and delivering digital features to make it easy to join, fund, and trade alongside highly engaging in-app tools and resources.

Job Description & Accountabilities: Reporting to a Senior Product Manager you may be assigned to support a Manager, and/or lead an initiative in one or more of the following areas (to be determined):

  • Product Ownership: Support the Senior Manager or Manager in driving the objective and key result for a given phase of the Journey (Shop, Buy, Serve, Engage) by creating and maintaining feature roadmaps, managing escalations, assessing customer feedback, and communicating sprint goals as part of an agile team including IT, Architecture, Change Management

  • Analytics & Insights: Support the Senior Manager or Manager by measuring Journey Key Results at each phase and understand their drivers to assess progress, and uncover new data-driven insights to influence both short term tactics and longer-term strategy

  • Emerging Investor Solutions: Support the Senior Manager or Manager with the longer-term innovation agenda by exploring, developing, and validating new concepts, and defining and scoping early-stage opportunities through prototyping and testing.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Working towards a degree/diploma in a related field (e.g.: IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business...etc.)

  • A strong team player, curious to learn, with an ability to quickly build relationships

  • A passion for making personal finances easier

  • Experience working on complex problems that have competing stakeholders

  • Exceptional communication skills, developing business documents and leadership presentations

  • Expert in Excel and PowerPoint

Not mandatory, but considered an asset:

  • Personal experience with self-directed investing

  • Experience working in wealth, banking, fintech, consultancy, digital business

  • Experience creating business strategy

  • Experience working in agile/digital delivery methodologies

  • Familiarity with data extraction, manipulation, and visualization

  • Familiarity with innovation, experimentation, usability, human-centered design
