Job Overview

At TE Connectivity, you’ll help bring our purpose to life by creating a safer, sustainable, productive and connected future. Your role as ​an Intern​ in the ​Industrial & Commercial Transportation​ Business Unit, will help us make the connections that move the world forward by:

• Drive new Scrap initiatives to improve overall performance

• Support team to address Customer Complaints

• Support cross functional teams on continuous improvement programs

Responsibilities

At TE Connectivity, you’ll be part of a global collaborative culture where your innovative approach and actions have the potential to transform the world of tomorrow. In this role you’ll:

• Manage a short-term project and structure a presentation for Management Team

• Define root cause and implement corrective actions that will result improve overall performance

• Coordinate quality inspections for containment activities and report out on findings

• Analyze audit results and determine proper corrective actions and preventive measures

You're the kind of person we are looking for if you:

• Have Received a High School Diploma or GED

• Are currently enrolled in a program or pursuing a ​BA/BS​ Degree in Mechanical Engineering, ​Electrical Engineering​ or ​Plastics/Polymer Engineering​ from an accredited college or university or have equivalent work history. (In certain circumstances, students who are taking a gap year will be considered.)

• Have previous internship or large project experience is preferred

• Are authorized to work in the U.S.

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $16.78--$34.96/HOUR (subject to change dependent on physical location)

• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
