Join our Global Sales Tools and Support Team

Akamai is currently seeking an intern to join our Sales Tools and Support team in the global sales organization. This team serves in a cross-divisional business operations function, operationalizing business architecture through design, definition, and governance of sales processes and tools.

As a participant in our programs, you will gain valuable experience and make contributions through meaningful project work. You will have the opportunity to join us for trainings, networking events, and engagements with company leadership. Our 4-month intern program starts in May.

Make an impact in a fast-paced role

As a Sales Operations Intern, you will focus on the management and enhancement of the sales tech stack (which includes all the tools salespeople at Akamai utilize). You’ll work through a variety of data analyses processes, manage objects in Salesforce, and put your stakeholder collaboration skills to work.

As a Sales Operations Intern, you will be responsible for:

• Partnering with sales and channels leadership to define/execute strategic projects to enhance the efficacy of Akamai sales teams.

• Identifying and brainstorming a variety of data analyses processes.

• Gaining exposure to Salesforce.

• Collaborating with a variety of stakeholders across the Sales and IT organizations.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be currently pursuing a university degree in Costa Rica and have Costa Work work authorization

• Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (with Python and SQL as bonuses).

• Have experience with SaaS applications (bonus).

• Be a self-starter who is comfortable and productive in a fluid environment.

• Be a strong communicator who enjoys collaborating with global teams.
