DESCRIPTION OF WORK As an Intern, your main role will be to assist in the maintenance and repair of construction equipment, trucks, and automobiles. This includes working on various systems such as hydraulic, electric, heating, cooling, exhaust, and transmissions. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting state vehicle inspections, completing work orders, accurately tracking time, and promptly reporting any equipment accidents or damage.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Schedule will vary based on agreement between high school and COPA location. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Must be at least 16 years old at time of hire. Must be a junior or senior enrolled in High School

Additional Requirements: Must be a vo-tech (career and technical center) student in an approved cooperative vocational training program that has prepared the student for the duties and the description of work described in this posting. Letter of Recommendation: You must attach a Letter of Recommendation from your school's co-op coordinator, career or guidance counselor, or similar designated school professional indicating you meet your school's requirements and are being recommended for this opportunity. Work Permit: Minors will be required to submit their Work Permit upon acceptance of this position. By participating in this program, the student and school agree to use the Commonwealth's Training Plan, Statement of Responsibilities, and Student Performance Evaluation. Forms will be provided to the student upon acceptance of this position. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
