Stantec is currently seeking Interns to provide technical support on a variety of projects. These positions will be part of Stantec’s Environmental Services team that provides the full range of expertise needed to address a variety of regulatory, ecological, engineering and environmental planning issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• The responsibilities of these positions vary by discipline and include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assist Project Managers in the management and implementation of various environmental projects.

• Support could include project documentation (i.e. report preparation, file organization, data review, meeting minutes).

• Assist staff conducting research.

• Conduct field surveys (wetland delineations, archeological and cultural surveys, mitigation and compliance monitoring and reporting)

• Prepare other project documentation as required.

• Track the processing of incoming and outgoing project documents.

• Performing other duties as requested.

Qualifications

Your Qualifications:

Interns:

• Minimum of one year of college education in environmental sciences or an engineering field.

• Candidates must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

• Strong detail orientation and ability to organize and prioritize a diverse array of assignments and duties.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Self-motivated and ability to work independently and with a team.

• Enjoys both field work and office work.
