BMW Of North America Intern, Communication and Media Specialist in WOODCLIFF LAKE, New Jersey

This is a full-time internship position for our Fall/Spring Rotation, from September 16, 2024 through March 14, 2025 in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.

This intern will support the Technical Service Department for the US-Market in Communication of technical and non-technical information to BMW and MINI dealerships, assisting with various analytical projects, data analysis to report new issues and compile powerpoints for reporting to management or product engineers.

Furthermore, assist with the preparation of internal and dealer meetings (up to 200 participants).

Evaluate the service process and work to improve efficiency and create improved forms of information delivery to our customers.

There will also be the opportunity to learn about the BMW aftersales processes and tools by working with various teams within Aftersales (Technical Service, Aftersales Business Development, Group University).

The hourly rate for Undergraduate students is $29.90

The hourly rate for Graduate students is $36.80

The selected student's academic level will be used to determine the final pay rate. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.

Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master's degree program at an accredited college or university
Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
Have completed at least 30 college credit hours at time of application
Field of study: Mediapsychology or equivalent
Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript
Ability to work full-time (36.25 hours/week)
Prior BMW Group experience (applicable to international J1 students only)
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Experience in the creation of videos and podcasts
Good communication skills verbal and written
Experience in the creation of websites

Preferences:
Languages: English & German (fluent, oral and written)
Self-driven and able to work independently
