Boehringer Ingelheim Internship - Local Finance (Accounting & Controlling) in Wrocław, Poland

THE POSITION

If accounting is in your area of interest, we can offer you a paid internship in the Finance team in an international environment. You can take the opportunity to gain an insight into accounting processes for Poland and actively accompany them.

The start of the internship is planned for May/June 2025 and the duration is 6 months on-site in Wrocław with hybrid option twice a week. Your working schedule will be fit to your daily availability between 8:00 AM-4:00 PM.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Preparing postings in accounting system and ad hoc tasks such as accounting reports verification

  • Filling in GUS and NBP reports

  • Working with accounting programs and systems – for example SAP

  • Financial controlling analysis and reports with Excel

  • Active participation in cost optimization and process improvement projects

  • Data analysis, including financial results and tax data

About our future intern:

You should speak Polish (min. C1) and English language (min. B2) and have the willingness to learn on the job.

Additionally, we are looking for:

  • Students or graduates in the field of economics, accounting, or finance

  • Proactivity with time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills with high level of reliability and confidentiality

  • Existing experience in a professional business environment, e.g., previous internships or relevant student work is a plus

  • Knowledge of MS Office (be expert in Excel is a plus)
